Air Duct Coating

Moisture and heat in the ductwork can create an ideal breeding ground for mold and bacteria, which can and often does accumulate here. Sometimes this mold and mildew can cause an unpleasant odor.

Our technician would apply a solution at the end of the cleaning process, using a coating machine that disperses a powerful mist throughout the duct system. Once done, the system is turned on, to allow the product to be circulated throughout all ducts and vents.

We offer three types of coating:

  1. Odor control

With its special formulation, the odor eliminator we use doesn’t just mask odors, like scented sprays and perfumes, it infiltrates and neutralizes odors at the source. The odor eliminator contains an encapsulation control agent that controls odors by both encapsulating and breaking down odor molecules, while time releasing a fresh fragrance.

  1. Mold control

We use an innovative, market leading product that effectively eliminates existing mold, prevents mold re-growth and eliminates musty odors with no harmful chemicals.

The mold control effectively eliminates and prevents mold with no bleach, ammonia or VOCs. This formula works as it dries by crushing the mold spores at the roots and leaving behind an invisible antimicrobial barrier to prevent future mold growth.

  1. Soot encapsulant (typically for use after a fire/smoke/soot damage)

This product forms a clear, encapsulating film to contain particulates and dust.

It helps to improve indoor air quality, particularly in structures affected by fire or smoke damage, including heavy cigarette smoke, “puff backs” and furnace malfunctions. This product creates a long-lasting barrier that helps prevent the release of particulates, which can irritate breathing and carry strong odors. When offensive particulate matter is encapsulated and sealed away, overall air quality and occupant comfort are improved.

This product’s long-lasting barrier helps prevent the release of particulates, thereby helping to improve indoor air quality and occupant comfort after restoration.
